Dead Man’s Hand by Todd White

Hand signed limited edition print (8/75) by artist Todd White.  White’s images often invoke laughter and demand repeated viewings and this piece is no exception, being another White artwork inspired by the ‘Day of the Dead’ celebrations.  Held annually at the beginning of November, the celebrations often take a humorous tone as celebrants remember funny events and anecdotes about the departed, although in this image there appears to be more consideration of who is holding the winning hand!
