An exquisite original pencil drawing by the legendary northern artist L S Lowry entitled The Steps and is believed to depict Stockport.

Featured on BBC North West news, a video is available of Lowry producing this exact drawing at the base of the Steps, an incredible addition to its provenance. Stills of the footage are attached above.

Signed and dated 1957, this beautiful original drawing offered professionally framed in a hand finished white gold leaf frame, signed by Lowry and dated 1957.
