Philip Gray Exhibition 10th February

Last updated on

The amazing Philip Gray is one of our most popular exhibitors, recounting his incredible expeditions to his appreciative collectors and showcasing his unbelievable artworks.  With that in mind, we are thrilled to have him back in the gallery on 10th February 2022 with his latest paintings and undoubtedly his latest tails of adventure and exploration.

Born in Cork, Ireland, Philip Gray spent his earlier career in the Irish navy, firmly cementing a love of the sea that has influenced his artistic career ever since.  Upon leaving the navy, Philip decided that he wanted to combine his two passions of diving and art.  The seeds were sown for an expedition to the Bahamas where he donned his diving equipment and set upon painting under the ocean on the bow of a shipwreck.  The incredible oil painting culminating from this dive were truly groundbreaking and have led to many other outrageous expeditions.

Borneo, Iceland and a Chinese dive to the Forbidden City have followed, along with skydiving paintings and Everest climbs all of which have spawned his incredible back catalogue of dramatic paintings.
