Blog Week 27

Last updated on

Where has the first half of 2023 gone?  As the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun.  The first half of the year has seen lots of changes in the gallery with the opening of our Northern Art Lounge which has been met with an enthusiastic response from our visitors and if you haven’t already been, we would love to see you.

New from Mr Brainwash

The phenomenon that is Mr Brainwash continues to take the art world by storm with the opening of the Mr Brainwash Art Museum in Beverley Hills and a whistle stop tour around our nations capital in his very own Brainwash branded double decker bus!

The London trip has been highlighted by the release of two brand new limited edition prints inspired by London which are available to order on our Brainwash page by clicking here.

New Original Paintings from David Renshaw

This week we have also acquired two new original paintings from Southport’s David Renshaw who continues to be a hot favourite with collectors.  With his original paintings still more affordable than many artist’s limited edition prints it’s no wonder they sell so quickly.

Along with these two new originals from David Renshaw, we also have just a couple of copies of our previously sold out limited edition print from David back in stock titled Gazing to the Future.  As this was from a very small edition of just 25 copies, once they are gone they are gone so don’t delay if you missed out on this piece last time.

Revolver Original by Linda Charles

Also just in is this wonderful mixed media original artwork from Linda Charles.  Linda’s music inspired creations have proved very popular with collectors and we are sure that this original work will be snapped up quickly by a Beatles fan with a keen eye for contemporary art.  Much like David Renshaw, with original prices not dramatically higher than her limited editions, it’s a great buy for a collector quick to the draw.

Frogman Rare Editions

As Frogman collectors will be aware, sourcing the incredible bronze frogs has been challenging since the first Covid lockdowns and unfortunately it has not got any easier.  With that in mind, we are thrilled this week to have a selection of rare and previously sold out Frogman sculptures back in the gallery.  A handful of the pieces are shown on the website with others available to view in the gallery, there are some super scarce pieces including EVs from editions of only 35 and early pieces dating back almost 25 years.  Do come on down and take a look in person if you are a Frogman lover.

Coming Soon……

Todd White collectors are encouraged to keep a close eye on the website over the coming days as we have an exciting collection of original drawings and a totally unique hand painted edition by Todd about to drop.  Here is the first of the pieces which is the original drawing from the sell out limited edition print ‘Venice’ which proved so popular so we are amazingly fortunate to have the original sketch.

Full details will be available in the coming days but if the idea of owning an original concept drawing to a sold out published edition floats your boat, don’t delay and contact us at the gallery asap.
