Introducing David O’BrienLast updated on
We are honoured to introduce the talented Lancashire mosaic artist David O’Brien to our stable of internationally collected artists.
David O’Brien can create just about anything with his intricate talent for mosaic wall art and sculpture. After visiting Barcelona’s famous park, Park Guell, in the 1990’s O’Brien’s inspiration and passion for mosaic art was ignited.
Born in Liverpool, David O’Brien went to school at St Margaret’s in Aigburth and from a young age had an understandable passion for football. This passion for football comes through in his artwork now along with influences from iconic music, racing cars, pop art and designer trainers.
His sculptures and wall art are produced from a wide array of different tiles and have quickly become a hit with collectors in the UK and across the world. Absorbing himself in the creative process for each piece, these incredible works of art have the most fascinating attention to detail, requiring immense discipline and patience.
Every mosaic is original and unique. Adding a designer touch to the world of wall art and sculpture creation, O’Brien’s work is topical and modern, encapsulating the latest trends alongside classics.
Recent T.V. appearances including appearing on BBC1’s DIY SOS and ‘Home is Where the Art Is’ are helping to introduce David’s unique works to a wider pool of collectors and are increasing the demand for his work exponentially. We are therefore thrilled to be able to showcase the works of such a popular and talented local artist at this important stage of his career. We hope that you love them too.
