Blog Week 10
Last updated onWith now only a few more weeks before we can hopefully reopen the gallery to the public, we are excitedly putting together a brand new collection of artworks to wow our collectors hopefully on the 12th April. In the meantime, we are still doing home approvals and free UK delivery so if something takes your fancy, don’t miss out and order now.
Introducing the Incredible Mr Brainwash
Mr Brainwash has been a phenomenon in the urban art genre for many years and was even the subject of the documentary ‘Exit through the Gift Shop’ produced by the one and only Banksy.
With such global success including hosts of the celebratory collectors in his home state of California, we are thrilled to have been named as one his official UK stockists. Over the coming weeks and months we will be offering a debut selection of limited edition prints along with a selection of rare and sold old limited edition prints not available anywhere else.
We hope that you are able to join us at the early stages of this exciting journey with one of the world’s most in demand contemporary artists.
New from Ben Jeffery
Known for the incredible quality of his artwork, London based artist Ben Jeffery also shines for his unique twists in his subject matter, combining the outstanding photo realism that he creates with other techniques. We are fortunate to have been able to acquire two of his stunning new creations which add silver leaf detail to enhance the stunning and powerful images of the Lion and Leopard.
Both of these stunning new paintings are available to order on a first come first served basis on our Ben Jeffery page now so do check them out while they are available.
New from Barry Hilton
Barry Hilton continues to be one of our most popular and sought after artists and continues to develop his subject matter and techniques even coming into his eightieth year. This weeks new arrivals demonstrate this perfectly with three absolutely fabulous new paintings including both landscapes and a brilliant seascape painting.
Hilton’s originals often sell quickly so do check out the paintings on the Hilton page now and we hope that you love them as much as we do.
Geoffrey Key Originals
Another one of our popular artists that won’t mind us mentioning that he is approaching his eightieth birthday is the Northern Art legend Geoffrey Key.
With a number Geoffrey’s original artworks leaving the gallery for new homes in recent weeks, we are delighted to have been able to visit the studio and collect a selection of new originals from Geoffrey.
During lockdown with a lack of external stimulus from not being able to get out, Geoffrey has painted a series of still life paintings based upon the objects that he has around the home. The above Doll painting came about from a Doll belonging to his late wife from his incredibly popular Clown series. The Clown paintings so hard to find and so valuable when they do come to market, we are delighted to have been able to acquire this striking 12″ x 16″ Doll painting which is available now.
The second of the new paintings is a 2012 still life of a mask, also in Geoffrey’s own collection.
We encourage you to check out the full details on our Geoffrey Key page now and if they are still available, do come and view them in person when the gallery reopens in April.
