Alexander Millar ExhibitionLast updated on
We are delighted to be showcasing a fabulous collection of limited edition prints and original drawings by artist Alexander Millar from Saturday 22nd May.
Born in Springside, Scotland, in 1960, Millar takes a nostalgic and heartfelt look at the characters he observed as a young boy growing up on the West Coast. The ‘large, missile-shaped women decked out in headscarves and pinnies’ and the ‘old men dressed in dark suits and smoking woodbines’ are immortalised on canvas.
We are proud to have first showcased Millar’s art almost two decades ago and since which time he has gone from strength to strength, holding sell out solo exhibitions and even holding museum shows. We are excited to bring back his work to the gallery for a wonderful showcase including a selection of his limited edition prints and two exquisite original drawings.
We do hope that you can come along and enjoy this collection by such an acclaimed and highly regarded artist. Full details can also be viewed on our Alexander Millar page here.
