Christmas FiredUp4 Charity Evening

Each year we select local charities to support and this year, as we have for the last couple of years, we have been involved in the Supercar Showtime event raising funds on behalf of the incredible local Children’s Hospice Derian House.  We were thrilled to be a sponsor of the event and saw the Mr Brainwash limited edition print that we donated raise in excess of £3000 for the charity and contribute towards the £43,000 raised for the whole event.

In addition to this charity, we will also be supporting the Onside Youth Zones who are the charity behind the awesome youth centres throughout the region and UK including Chorley’s Inspire Youth Zone and also locally in Wigan, Bolton and Blackburn.  To give everybody the opportunity to support the charity, we will be hosting a Christmas gathering at the gallery on the evening of 14th December where a selection of artworks by internationally collected potters will be for sale with 100% of the proceeds from these sales going towards the charity.  The artworks have been donated by the potters so we would be thrilled if you could come along, enjoy some festive cheer and perhaps go home with a wonderful piece of artwork having supported an incredible local cause.

Along with the proceeds of the pottery sales, we will also be donating 10% of any additional purchases from our gallery owned stock on the evening.   It is a great opportunity to pick up last minute Christmas presents or maybe that piece of art that you have had your eye on whilst also supporting the Youth Zones which have done so much for local young people and our community.
