Blog Week 48Last updated on
We are excited that the gallery will be able to reopen again next week on Wednesday 2nd December. Although we have been closed, we have been packaging orders and have also been busy on a buying spree to ensure that we have new works for you to enjoy when you can come along and visit again in person.
One of the new arrivals during lockdown has been the incredibly exciting launch of our debut collection by the legendary comic book artist of DC and Marvel fame, Alex Ross. For this not familiar with Ross’s iconic status, he won the Comic Buyer’s Guide Award for Favorite Painter so many times that the award was officially retired.
The ‘DC Legends’ collection includes five images from Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, all produced as signed limited edition prints available as editions on paper, canvas or oversized deluxe editions.
Click here now to view the collection or call into the gallery to view the selection in person.
Rare Todd White Editions
Along with the awesome Alex Ross editions, we have also acquired two rare Todd White editions that we thought we wouldn’t have the honor of offering again.
The first of the two offerings is the super rare ‘Bluebirds’ edition which was only produced from a limited run of 25. Previously sold out around the world, we have acquired just one example which is available to order now on a strictly first come first served basis.
The pop of pink on this beauty is amazing. Full details available on both pieces on our Todd White gallery here.
Rozanne Bell Originals
This week has also seen a selection of new original harbour paintings from Rozanne Bell come into the gallery including one huge statement painting below along with a collection of smaller works starting from just £335.
The smaller works make lovely Christmas gifts for the art lover who has everything so do check them out on the website now.
Following the Christmas vibe, the latest arrivals from Ruby Keller have a seasonal feel with this cute Robin just in stock.
Along with the gorgeous Robin, we also have a Highland Cow and Kingfisher available, both of which are detailed and available on our Ruby Keller page.
Craig Alan Original
In addition to these beautiful pieces, we also have a striking new original in the gallery from celebrated US artist Craig Alan.
Having grown in popularity in recent years with high profile commissions and album covers for the likes of Tom Walker, it is a great privilege for us to still be able to offer his imaginative works.
An imaginative composition constructed from hundreds of little figures, this large Marilyn Monroe original is a real sight to behold. View it online now or in the gallery from next Wednesday.
Collectors Piece from Geoffrey Key
Upon reopening next week we will resume our Geoffrey Key exhibition with a new arrival. The amazing ‘Harlequin and Sundial’ will be arriving next week and unusually is available with the original ink study that accompanies the piece.
Both the oil painting and study are featured in one of Geoffrey’s books adding to the provenance and collectibility of the pair. With over twenty of Geoffrey’s paintings on show in the gallery, we do hope that you can call in and enjoy the work in person.
