Final preparations for our St Patrick’s Day exhibition by Irish artist Philip Gray have been underway all week with a stunning array of paintings now on show.
Philip Gray, whose paintings have been collected by the likes of George W Bush and Bill Clinton, will be joining us at the gallery from 7-9pm on Friday 17th March so we do hope you can join us. Philip will also be interviewed with Giles on Gilly’s BBC Radio Lancashire show from 2pm on the 17th so do tune in or catch him on the i-player.
Introducing Alfie by Frogman
It has been an exciting week on the sculpture front also with a new shipment from Frogman and Brian Arthur in the gallery and the announcement of a very exciting new release.
It was announced this week that Frogman’s 2017 owl sculpture will be the super cute ‘Alfie’.
‘Alfie’ follows on from his predecessor, ‘Arthur’, who was an equally stunning little owl who sold out quickly upon release. From an edition of 500 worldwide, ‘Alfie’ will be arriving in stock in April but is available to pre order now to avoid disappointment.
Included in this weeks new sculpture arrivals is ‘The Hunt’ by Frogman.
This amazing new sculpture is from an edition of only 350 worldwide and is a stunning edition to any Frogman collection.
Joining this new edition from Frogman is an equally impressive and great fun piece from Brian Arthur featuring a Pelican on a Piling.
From a small edition of only 95, this latest arrival has proved as popular as his previous heron sculptures with the first available sculpture selling within minutes of being emailed out to collectors. Don’t worry though, another copy of this superb bronze will be in shortly so do contact the gallery if you would like to preorder or be notified as soon as it arrives.
New JJ Adams Collection Available
We are also delighted to have secured this week some additional rare pieces by the groundbreaking talent that is JJ Adams. JJ’s work has been selling out quickly upon release so we are thrilled to have been able to source new sold out editions including The Rat Pack, Wizard of Oz and The Goblin King featuring David Bowie. Check out the JJ Adams page here for full info.

George Somerville’s great value ink sketches continue to be a big hit with collectors with our last two acquisitions selling out within 24 hours of hitting the website. With that in mind, we were pleased to acquire two additional new pieces this week, both larger than previously offered, but packed with the same quirky charm we have come to love.

We hope to see you all on 17th March to meet Philip Gray or over the weekend if you cannot make it and keep an eye open on the website next week for details of an new up and coming James Lawrence Isherwood exhibtion.
