An incredible mixed media original artwork by artist Nick Holdsworth.

Nick’s technique is not only innovative but painstakingly intensive. First pixelating the image with an iconic logo, in this case the Apple logo, Nick then spends several days digitally colouring the image. This part of the process takes several days, while Nick works on the colour palette, recording each digital colour used to later refer to on the final physical painting stage.

The final stage of the process once the digital stage is complete, involves Nick printing the digitally constructed image and then physically airbrushing the composition using the colours recorded in the digital stage. This involves fine detail work and incredible dexterity, often using masks and fine airbrush skills to create the immense details and tonal qualities.
