Original Pastel by Brian Shields (Braaq)

A fabulous original pastel painting by the late Liverpudlian artist Brian Shields, better known as Braaq.  Braaq was well known for his northern scenes which were often described as Lowryesque.  As with Lowry, Braaq depicted the Northern folk of the second half of the twentieth century and often with a sprinkling of humour.  This particular example is executed in pastels and beautifully framed and signed by the artist.
