Morecambe Boats by Geoffrey Key Original Painting

Geoffrey Key’s 2013 Morecambe Bay series offered a departure from some of his previous subject matters and is a rare example of the Salford artist tackling the subject matter of the boats and the sea.

Capturing the Lancashire coastline at Morecambe and the fishing vessels so familiar in this part of the country, Key successfully captures the sense of the place whilst maintaining his recognisable style and technique.  A fine and rare example of this series of seascape paintings.
