Trevor Grimshaw

Trevor Grimshaw (1947-2001) was a notable British artist renowned for his evocative monochromatic landscapes and industrial scenes. Born in Hyde, Cheshire, Grimshaw demonstrated a prodigious talent for drawing from an early age, which was nurtured through formal studies at Stockport College of Art.

Grimshaw’s work is characterized by its distinctive use of charcoal and graphite, creating stark, atmospheric depictions of the post-industrial landscapes of Northern England.
