Roz Wilson
Using the classic car as her subject, Roz creates intricately detailed highly colourful original paintings that portray the cars as objects of both extreme beauty and curvaceous femininity. Her lifelong passion for all things petrol driven combines with her outstanding creative talent
to capture the sensuality and mystique of these traditionally masculine machines.
After a successful career in design (including creating bespoke stage clothes for Freddie Mercury and Sigue Sigue Sputnik) Roz became a full time fine artist, initially painting portraits and landscapes but moving on to painting her passion – cars and bikes. She won countless prizes and a personal highlight was when Eric Clapton signed the portrait on a Harley which she painted for London’s Hard Rock Café.
