Michael Ashcroft AROI MAFA

Born in 1969 in the picturesque village of Croston, only three miles from Hepplestone Fine Art, Michael Ashcroft is one of the UK's exciting up and coming artists. Michael Ashcroft quickly established himself as one of the UK's rising art stars. His passion for art stems from a feeling of wanting to capture light and dark in its purest form, transferring this to board using palette knife and brush.

His paintings are widely sought after and are held in many private collections internationally. Michael has had work accepted for exhibition with the Society of British Artist and awards include finalist for Artist of the Year 2013, 'International Artist Finalist' and finalist on the BBC Show Me the Monet program. 2015 saw Ashcroft's first painting accepted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London and he was elected associate member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in 2019.
