Gary Benfield

Gary Benfield Artist was born in 1965 in Birmingham. Studying first at Stourbridge College of Art and then at Wrexham College of Art. Very popular within the Gallery for over 15 years and is still going strong. Gary Benfield prints is a truly stunning collection to choose from and can certainly be described as eyecatching.

When he first set up his London studio, Gary concentrated almost exclusively on figurative and still life painting. However since moving to a beautiful part of Ireland, a close relationship built up with the surrounding countryside and inspired a great love and respect for the natural world. Furthermore the work is characterised by style and technique rather than by subject. Whether he paints hares in their natural habitat or more formal equestrian portraits, beautiful elegant women or a classic bowl of fruit. Always initially working from life, and this is the key to the creative process behind his exquisite works.
