13th October 2017 – Todd White Personal Appearance

todd white exhibitionIt is always a pleasure to welcome US art sensation Todd White to the gallery and this year was no exception.  Launching his new ‘The Devils in the Detail’ book along with a whole host of rare and sought after limited editions and originals, everybody had a great night meeting and chatting with Todd about the work.

21st September 2017 – Frogman Personal Appearance

frogman exhibition lancashireThe Frogman Tim Cotterill visited us once again with a whole host of his bronze sculptures featuring his quirky frogs along with new birds sculptures such as the amazing Cockatoo Caruso.

Highlights of the exhibition included the Hepplestone Exclusive edition Pablo from a run of only 50 worldwide along with the show frogs Stardust and Sapphire.

17th June 2017 – Fabian Perez Personal Appearance

fabian perez art exhibition manchesterSouth American art sensation Fabian Perez visited the gallery from his home in California to showcase his atmospheric and evocative figurative paintings that have led him to paint the likes of world footballer of the year Lionel Messi and the Pope himself.

April 22nd – 23rd 2017 – James Lawrence Isherwood Exhibition

fine art trade guild retail art gallery of the yearTo celebrate 100 years since the birth of one of Northern arts most widely collected artists, we hung a spectacular collection of original paintings by the late James Lawrence Isherwood.

Collectors from as far afield as Italy and all of the UK including London flocked to purchase the unseen works of the Wigan painter.  We constantly stock Isherwood’s paintings so if you missed the exhibition, do call in or contact the gallery to view the up to date selection.

17th March 2017 – Philip Gray Exhibition

philip gray extreme artist exhibitionWho better to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with than one of Ireland’s most widely collected artists, Philip Gray.

Philip joined us along with over a hundred avid collectors and thrilled everyone with a live charity painting demonstration raising thousands for local hospice St Catherine’s.  A huge thank you goes out to everyone who attended with a special mention to Philip Gray and the lucky couple who purchased the charity painting.

February 23rd-27th 2017 – Barry Hilton Exhibition

barry hilton exhibitionAs one of our longest standing regular artists, it was a pleasure to host another succesful exhibition of original paintings by Lancashire artist Barry Hilton.

For over forty years, Barry Hilton has honed and perfected his exquisite harbour scenes and vivid contemporary landscapes which have made him one of the UK’s most successful painters.   Although the exhibition was a near sell out with collectors travelling the length of the country to visit, we are constantly sourcing and exhibiting Barry Hilton’s art from throughout the decades so check out his page here for current availability.

20th October 2016 – Abstract Sensualism with Chris DeRubeis

Meet artist Chris derubeisThe founder of the movement that has become known as abstract sensualism, Chris DeRubeis, joined us in October on his debut exhibition tour of the UK.

DeRubeis’ artwork which is all created using a variety of techniques on aluminium, wowed the adoring crowd of art lovers who came along to meet the American artist.  We must thank everybody who came along and gave Chris DeRubeis such a warm welcome to the North of England and to the artist and his team who impressed everybody with their knowledge, enthusiasm and incredible art.

22nd September 2016 – Frogman Exhibition & Personal Appearance

6th February 2016 – James Lawrence Isherwood Exhibition

lawrence-isherwood-great-george-street-wiganOn February 6th we opened our James Lawrence Isherwood exhibition which showcased over fifty original oil paintings by the late Wigan artist.   We were thrilled to have been able to bring together such a fine collection of works with the help of the Isherwood family and a host of private collectors.  We continue to offer art by Isherwood so to enquire about artwork by one of Northern arts most widely collected artists, please contact the gallery at or 01257 451121.

8th October 2015 – Paris School Exhibition including Picasso, Salvador Dali, Chagall & Miro

Pablo Picasso lithograph print art gallery lancashireThis amazing exhibition brought together an unprecedented collection of works by some of the twentieth centuries most sought after artists.

Artists featured included the likes of Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, Jean Cocteau and Joan Miro with mediums varying from lino cuts, etchings, ceramics and sculpture.

Although this was a limited time exhibition, we permanently have access to works by School of Paris artist so if you are thinking of investing in a piece of art by a twentieth century master, do contact us first.

16th September 2015 – Frogman Tim Cotterill Exhibition and Personal Appearance

Frogman Tim Cotterill bronze frog figurine sculptureThe world famous Frogman Tim Cotterill joined us on the evening of 16th September to launch a new selection of Frogman bronze frog sculptures including two very special edition show frogs and a custom patina frog of Spencer III which was unveiled on the night.

Thank you to everybody who came along to meet the Frogman and to Tim Cotterill and his team for travelling over from California for such a fantastic exhibition.

2nd July 2015 – 10 Year Anniversary Celebration
