Blog Week 6Last updated on
The new year continues to bring us lots of new artwork and our collection on show at present is one of our strongest we have had in our fifteen year history. Headlining our new arrivals this week have been the latest collection of original paintings from the talented and in demand artist Caro Saint Vire.
The new collection of paintings includes a selection of Caro’s breathtakingly dramatic skyscapes which have made her one of our most in demand artists since her debut collection with us in 2019. With paintings from the new collection selling already, we strongly recommend viewing this collection sooner rather than later either in the gallery or online here now.
Along with the Caro Saint Vire collection, we have also acquired a new selection of small original paintings from Rozanne Bell this week. Having been a regular exhibitor in the gallery for over ten years, we are excited to bring in these new much smaller originals from Roz, opening up her work to a new host of collectors who aren’t able to accommodate her larger paintings. With an image size of just 10″ x 10″ and prices starting from just £345, hopefully you will love these gorgeous new original artworks.
The late Wigan artist James Lawrence Isherwood is always one of our leading artists and this week we have been fortunate to be able to acquire a new paintings depicting St Martins in London, one of his iconic London scenes.
A superb example and in excellent condition, we suggest viewing this Northern Art painting in person to fully appreciate it’s quality.
Introducing Frank Getty
Finally on the originals front this week, we have launched the work of German artist Frank Getty. Getty’s original paintings capture both the natural and urban landscape utilising an amazing heavily textured impasto technique.
With such a unique use of heavy oils and combined in the painting above with silver leaf detail, we hope you love the new works from Getty and get chance to call into the gallery and view them before they find new homes.
