Blog Week 32Last updated on
It has been a few weeks since our last blog and a lot has happened in the meantime. Just this last week we have been busy out and about sourcing some amazing new original paintings from some of our exciting artists along with some new ones too. A successful trip to Salford saw us acquire two fantastic new oils from Geoffrey Key and a fascinating trip to see Lowry’s legendary old friend, George Aird, has allowed us to acquire a wonderful new collection of paintings which will form the basis of an upcoming exhibition – watch this space!
Swiftly upon receipt of the Geoffrey Key oils, one found a new home immediately and the other is hanging proudly in the gallery now. From his 2018 equestrian series which is drawing to a close, ‘Moon Horse’ is a stunner and a must see for Geoffrey Key and Northern Art collectors alike.
Two new paintings from gallery favourite, the late James Lawrence Isherwood, have also come into the gallery this week and will be on show soon. A sneaky preview of ‘Sunset Thames Barges’ is below but keep an eye on the website over the next week or so for full details.
Colours of Love from Doug Hyde
The 2018 headline collection from Doug Hyde has also been launched this week consisting of nine new limited edition prints and two fabulous sculptures. Check out the availability and collection by clicking here but don’t delay, three have sold already just a couple of days from release.
