Blog Week 25Last updated on
The time has nearly come for our much anticipated Barry Hilton exhibition for which the doors will open this evening at 7pm. Barry has been incredibly busy in readiness for the exhibition which will include nearly thirty original paintings along with a host of limited edition prints. The largest Hilton painting ever produced will be on display along with a great selection of varying subject matters.
New from Carl Payne
Following on from the sell out success of Carl Payne’s Odette sculpture, we were also thrilled this week to receive his very latest bronze sculpture entitled Unity. Unity is his absolutely incredible figurative bronze which exudes all the quality and grace that Carl’s work has become synonomous with. Cast from an edition of only 95, it is really is a sight to behold and we encourage anybody interested to view the piece in person while it is still available.
Make a Wish from Doug Hyde
Also on the sculpture front, this week has seen the arrival of Doug Hyde’s latest cast porcelain sculpture, Make a Wish.
Already selling well from the gallery, we are delighted with this latest addition to the Doug Hyde stable and hope you can make it in to take a look.
Art and About
As our regulars know, we always love to see where our art ends up and it was therefore a great honour this week to be invited to West Tower where a fabulous collection of Todd White’s giclees are on show in the new Cellar Room.
The West Tower Manor House is now a fabulous wedding venue in Aughton, nr Ormskirk, and is a great example of how mixing contemporary art with a traditional environment can make a stunning and fresh statement. If you have any images of your art in situ please do share them with us via or email or social media as we would love to see them.
