Founded in 2005 by father and son team Clive & Giles Hepplestone, the gallery was born from a passion for quality art. As avid collectors, Clive and Giles recognised that the high street was dominated by galleries specialising largely in prints and sought to bring both affordable and collectable original paintings to Lancashire.
The gallery has grown to become one of the leading retail art galleries for both original paintings and collectable limited edition prints with collectors from around the world enjoying the eclectic mix of work and a truly personal service.
All of the artwork on display is hand picked by the Hepplestone's team ensuring a wide selection of both subject matters and styles. From landscape to figurative, oils to pastels, the selection is truly diverse. As the Hepplestone team benefits from a mixture of both tastes and ages, most artistic flavours are covered.
The gallery was originally located in the village of Eccleston but relocated to a custom built new gallery in Heskin in 2010 to accomodate a much greater selection of artwork. Hepplestone's gallery is located in the grounds of Heskin Hall in the Farmers Market & Craft Centre only three miles off J27 of the M6 in Lancashire. The new location offers easy access from many North West towns including Preston, Chorley, Liverpool, Wigan and Manchester.
As well as the art gallery attraction, the Heskin Hall Farmers Market & Craft Centre boasts the Two Birds Tea Room, a quality butchers and delicatessen along with a host of additional independent shops from furniture to fruit & veg. The Tudor mansion on site, Heskin Hall, is also open as an antique centre and wedding venue.
We would be deilghted if you are able to visit our spacious air conditioned showroom to enjoy the wide array of artwork and sculpture on show. A warm welcome and a cup of coffee are always on offer.
The gallery is open 7 days a week:
9.30am-5.30pm on weekdays
9.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday
11.00am-4.00pm on Sunday
Please note that the rest of the Craft Centre is closed on a Monday and Heskin Hall on a Wednesday.
