Frogman Tim Cotterill was born in Leicester in 1950. He left school at the age of 15 to complete a six year engineering apprenticeship. Intrigued with metalworking, Tim Cotterill created radical wheeled vehicles and metal sculptures of animals and birds during the 1970s and 1980s.
Now known as The Frogman, Tim Cotterill emigrated to California in 1990 where he has devoted himself solely to creating his fabulous molten bronze sculptures. Frogman sculptures are now in galleries and private collections throughout the UK and are collected by billionaires and celebrities alike. Frogman sculptures can be found in the collections of many well known names including Michelle Pfeiffer and David Hasselhoff.
